About me

I'm a postdoctoral fellow at the Tata Institute for Fundamental Research, School of Mathematics. Before that, I was a postdoc at the University of Western Ontario. I received a PhD from Michigan State University in August 2009 under the guidance of Rajesh Kulkarni. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and my Master's Degree from the same university in Mathematics. (Note: I will be visiting IHES (Bures-sur-Yvette, France) from April 1st, 2012 to May 31st, 2012.)

Research Interests

I am interested in vector bundles on algebraic varieties, their moduli, and related problems. Recently, I have also been interested in questions of essential dimension of algebraic groups.
